World AIDS Day 2019 was Sunday, but the Turtle Creek-based Human Services Center Corporation is holding its McKeesport World AIDS Day event a few days later.

The HSCC “World AIDS Day Celebration” will be held at the McKeesport Family Center from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday.

The event will feature a hot dog cookout, along with free and confidential HIV testing. HSCC representatives will be on site to provide HIV and AIDS awareness literature and information.

The event is free and open to the public. Anyone who attends is encouraged to wear red, which is a color associated with HIV and AIDS awareness.

Anyone with questions about the event can contact Holley Tillman at 412-829-7112 or by emailing htillman@hscc-mvpc.org.
