Remembering Josh at Thanksgiving

A local family hosted a community Thanksgiving dinner in McKeesport last week in memory of a late relative who “loved to eat and hated to see other people go without a meal on Turkey Day.”
The Josh Martinjak Thanksgiving Community Dinner is prepared each year at Bethlehem Baptist Church in downtown McKeesport by Josh’s brother, Jon Holzer of Verona, his mother, Linda Martinjak, and his sister Hannah Martinjak, both of Port Vue.
The dinner is served to clients of area mental health care and treatment facilities and area social service agencies. It is coordinated by the Rev. Pastor Earlene Coleman and the staff and board of directors of Sixth Street-based Noah’s Ark Community Center.
