A Monessen woman is accused of attempted homicide after allegedly stabbing one woman nine times and injuring two others during a fight early Monday morning.
Tiffany Grogan, 37, of Highland Manor is charged with criminal attempted homicide, aggravated assault, three counts each of simple assault and harassment and four counts of recklessly endangering another person.
She was arraigned just before 9 a.m. Monday in Magisterial District Court in Monessen.
A judge denied her bail in the case, citing “no conditions that can ensure the safety of the victims and community,” online court records indicate.
Monessen Police Lt. Dave Yuhasz said he and officer Alan Hritz were called to the 300 block of 10th Street around 1:42 a.m. for a report of a female who had been stabbed.
Police found the victim, identified as Haley Aldrich, sitting on the floor of the kitchen covered in blood.
Yuhasz said Aldrich suffered wounds on her head, neck, back, arm and underarm areas.
