Stewart W. Diess – Finleyville

Stewart W. Diess, 73, of Finleyville, passed away on Nov. 24, 2019. Born on Aug. 12, 1946, he was the son of the late Wilbur and Cynthia Diess. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and was retired from U.S. Steel. He is survived by wife, Barbara Diess of Elizabeth; son, Shawn Diess of Elizabeth; daughter Heather Diess; grandchildren, Daria, Hannah and Miranda; great-grandson, Braxton; and sisters, Fran Davis and Diane Diess-Evans. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by sister, Charlyss Jobes; and granddaughter, Jocelyn. Friends will be received from 6 to 8 pm on Tuesday, November 26 in the CARL J. SPALLINO FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION, 819 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi, Joseph A. Lopez, funeral director. Funeral services will be at 11 am on Wednesday in the funeral home with interment following. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, Kansas, 66675-8516. Online condolences may be sent to www.spallinofuneralhome.com.
