Karen Lynne Gauden – Charleroi

Karen Lynne Gauden, 61, of Charleroi, passed away Saturday, Nov. 23, 2019, in her home. She was born in North Charleroi on Jan. 23, 1958, a daughter of the late Patricia Lou Swartz Marchewka and Walter Marchewka, who survives and resides in Belle Vernon. She was a former member of the First United Methodist Church of Belle Vernon and since 1992, had resided in Charleroi, having previously lived in Belle Vernon. In addition to her father, survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Heather and Brian Fisher of West Newton, and Gail and Robert Powell of Charleroi; one son and a daughter-in-law, Lee and Melanie Gauden of Roscoe; two sisters, Laurie (Bob) Duvuvei of Charleroi and Tammy (David) Rodriquez of Elyria, Ohio; four brothers, Steve (Heather) Marchewka of White Oak, Walter “Boo” (Maureen) Marchewka of Jefferson Hills, Joel Paul “J.P.” (Amber) Marchewka of Mt. Lebanon and Shawn (Terri) Marchewka of North Charleroi; seven grandchildren, Nathan Parker, Nicholas Parker, Morgan Fisher, Peyton Sunderman, Leland Gauden, Madelyn Gauden and Reed Powell; several nieces and nephews; her good friends, Barbara Sigler and Robin Ross, both of Pittsburgh, and Theresa Seibert of Washington, Pa.; and her companion, Roxy (Princess). In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leslie Gauden, on Nov. 15, 2008. Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY INC., 700 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon.   724-929-5300. www.FergusonFuneralHomeandCrematory.com.
