Loreto ‘Ray’ Chiocchio – Monessen

Loreto “Ray” Chiocchio, 85, of Monessen, died Thursday, Nov. 21, 2019, in Monongahela Valley Hospital Inc. He was born on April 6, 1934, in Monessen, the son of the late Pelino and Cesidia Arcieri Chiocchio. Loreto was a lifelong resident of Monessen and a 1952 graduate of Monessen High School. He was a member of the Lynnwood Lutheran Church and retired from the Authority of the Borough of Charleroi. Loreto served his country with the U.S. Army. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Constance “Connie” Lukacs Chiocchio; three sons, Kenneth (Sherri) Chiocchio of Virginia, Jeffrey (Maureen) Chiocchio of Virginia, Timothy Chiocchio of Butler; two daughters, Sandra Chiocchio of Belle Vernon, Jennifer (Thomas) Chiocchio-Latkanich of Virginia; nine grandchildren, Nicole, Kenneth, Jessica, Erika and Scott Chiocchio, Amanda, Justin Chiocchio, Kara Clineman-Chiocchio, Matthew (Maddy) Latkanich; seven great-grandchildren, Mya, Halayna, Zara, Aiden, Kaleb, Haley and Mason. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Prima Kemp. Friends will be received from 4 to 6 p.m. Monday at DALFONSO-BILLICK FUNERAL HOME INC. AND CREMATION SERVICES, 441 Reed Ave., Monessen. Services will be held at 6 p.m. Monday in the funeral home with the Rev. Matthew Stabe officiating. Entombment will be in Mon Valley Memorial Park Mausoleum, Donora. Condolences accepted for the family at www.dalfonso-billick.com.
