Lillian Maria Grooms – Elizabeth Township

Lillian Maria Grooms, 91, of Elizabeth Township, passed away Thursday, Nov. 21, 2019. She was born Dec. 21, 1927, in Udine, Italy and was the daughter of the late Enrico Pincetti and Irmae Obit. She was the wife of the late Elmer G. Grooms, who passed away Nov. 2, 2016. They were married for 69½ years. She was a member of St. Michael Parish in Elizabeth Township. She is survived by her daughter, Betty Grooms Baker of Abingdon, Md.; brother, Armando (Lida) Obit; and sister, Olympia Nicolotti of Gorizia, Italy; nephews, Lynn (Rosemary) Haselhoff, Tim (Denise) Haselhoff, and Eric (Fran) Haselhoff; and many great-nieces and great-nephews, here and in Italy. She was preceded in death by her brother, Vico Pincetti; son-in-law, Kent Baker; and brother-in-law, Giorgio Nicolotti. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St. Michael Parish at noon Monday, Nov, 25, 2019. The Rev. Thomas Wagner will officiate.
