Theresa DeMarino – McKeesport

Theresa DeMarino, age 95, of McKeesport, entered Heaven’s gates on Saturday, Nov. 9, 2019. She was born in McKeesport on April 4, 1924 to the late Frank and Nancy Veltri Elia. A loving wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker, Theresa also worked at McKeesport Hospital. She had been living with her daughters, spending her time between Orlando, Fla. and Winder, Ga. She really loved spending time with all of her family and gave us all many wonderful memories. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 50 years, Nicholas DeMarino; and two sisters, Angelina Cherpak and Rose Vito.
Survivors include her daughters, Mary (Clay) Burns of Orlando, Fla., Loretta (Jack) Meyers of Winder, Ga., and her son, Michael (Lori) DeMarino of Ashtabula, Ohio; grandchildren, Nancy (Mike) Stopperich, Susan (Marvin) Kotvas, Michelle (Alex) Bunn, Melissa (Chris) McMann, Nicholas DeMarino and Theresa DeMarino. She has 11 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great-grandchildren. Family and friends are welcome at STRIFFLERS OF WHITE OAK CREMATION AND MORTUARY SERVICES INC., 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412-678-6177, from 10 until 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 23. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Angela Merici Parish, 1640 Fawcett Ave., White Oak at noon on Saturday, Nov. 23. Burial will follow.
