Stuart Fla., formerly of Monongahela
Stanley A. Burnisky Jr., 75, of Stuart Fla., formerly of Monongahela, died Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2019. Born April 3, 1944 in Bridgeville, he was the son of the late Stanley A. Sr. and Anne Day Burnisky. Stush retired from the Painters Union Local No. 6 in 2006. He served in the U.S. Marines Corp. during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Hoot Owls Club in New Eagle and after moving to Florida became a member of the AM Vets and the Stuart American Legion Post. Surviving are two sons, Allen Burnisky and Chris and Lisa Burnisky, all of Donora; three grandchildren, Jacob Burnisky, Joshua Burnisky and fiancée, Casey Kalinowski and LeAnna Burnisky; two great-grandchildren Luca Valentino Burnisky-Francia and Owen Thomas Burnisky; a sister, Cheryl Straight; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceding him in death was his wife, Wanda K. Hillman Burnisky who died Nov. 10, 2014; son, Scott Burnisky who died Aug. 20, 2010; and two brothers, Lance and Gary Burnisky. Friends will be received in the MARSHALL MARRA FUNERAL HOME, 216 Chess St. Monongahela, 724-258-6767 from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 23rd. Inurnment will follow at Monongahela Cemetery with prayers officiated by Deacon Al Poroda and military honors conducted by the Mon-Valley Honors Guard and Firing Squad.
