Constantine ‘Connie’ Doty – Charleroi

Constantine “Connie” Doty, 94, of Charleroi, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2019. Born on June 28, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Carmela Petix Granato. She was a member of Mary, Mother of the Church and was retired from Corning Glass. She is survived by her children, George Doty of Las Vegas; Connie Sue (Homer “Sonny”) Allensworth of Charleroi; and Vincent (Birgit) DeLaidatti of Martinsville, Va.; grandchildren, George Michael Doty, Adrian Brooks, Brandon (Kristin Hoelzle) Allensworth, Fallon (Nigel) Martin, and Sarah (Marrio) Gordon; great-grandchildren, Darrion Allensworth, Sarah, Darius and Alicia Martin, Sheldon Stewart, and Marrio “MJ” Gordon; sisters-in-law, Gloria Doty, Mabel Antcil and Ruth Granato; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, George V. Doty; brothers, Mike, Joe and Louis Granato; and twin sister, Carmela Lazzari. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 21, at CARL J. SPALLINO FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION, 819 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi, Joseph A. Lopez, funeral director. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Mary, Mother of the Church, with interment following in Calvary Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent to www.spallinofuneralhome.com.
