Pleasant Hills project will likely be delayed

Residents in Pleasant Hills may have to wait a bit longer for project at the Pleasant Hills Authority to be completed.
At Monday’s council meeting, Mayor William Trimbath announced that the authority has decided to exercise an option that could force the delay of the project’s completion.
The Pleasant Hills Authority is asking for an additional $86,000 to complete the streambank stabilization project, which already has a projected cost of $1 million.
Along with Pleasant Hills, the plant provides sewage treatment for South Park, Whitehall and Baldwin.
