Frank R. Cominsky – Monongahela

Frank R. Cominsky, 67, of Monongahela, died Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2019, in UPMC Presbyterian Hospital. He was born October 24, 1952 in New Eagle, the son of the late Frank William and Marjorie Ann McNaughton Cominsky. Frank was a 1971 graduate of Monongahela High School and a U.S. Air Force veteran having served during the Vietnam War. He retired from SKC Inc. of Eighty Four. Frank was an avid bicycler who enjoyed riding his bike through town. He especially loved spending time with his grandchildren and watching Notre Dame football. Frank is survived by his wife, Donna Cominsky with whom he celebrated 39 years of marriage on Sept. 27, 2019; two daughters, Shona and husband Bob Trettel of Monongahela, Francine and husband Mike Henderson of Charleroi; three grandchildren, Ava, Lily and Bobby Trettel; several nieces and nephews; sister, Constance Youcheff of Charleroi; and brother, Ronald and wife Janice Cominsky of Mechanicsburg. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Bernard Cominsky. At Frank’s request, there will be no visitations or funeral services.
