TRC’s Magical Mystery Tour III another successful trip

For the third year in a row, the Twin Rivers Chamber of Commerce (formerly Greater Rostraver Chamber) has sponsored a day trip around the Mon Valley to showcase unique and independent businesses.
On Saturday, 95 passengers jumped on board our Magical Mystery Tour bus to destinations unknown. Only once all passengers were on the buses, were the “bus stop” merchants disclosed.
This year, the bus stops included 14 brick and mortar locations, and “pop-up” destinations that housed six additional businesses. The “pop-up” was set up in a photography studio and highlighted local businesses without storefronts to encourage them to consider opening a retail location in the future.
Our participating merchants went above and beyond and gave our passengers VIP treatment, greeting them at the front door, offering special discounts, providing beverages, refreshments and thank-you gifts. Merchants provided quality customer service and TRC volunteers provided “package service” so passengers did not have to carry their purchases on the bus.
