Jaguars hockey doubles up visiting Indiana

Both the good and bad of Thomas Jefferson’s hockey team was on display Monday.
In large stretches, the Jaguars dominated visiting Indiana, sending an overwhelming amount of shots to the net and playing strong defense.
In shorter stretches, TJ tried to match Indiana’s physicality and chippiness, derailing themselves in the process.
The sum of it all, though, was an 8-4 win, as the Jaguars moved to 7-1 on the season.
“I thought we played the right way the first period and a half, and I thought once they started running people and stuff, we kind of fell into their game, and took some stupid penalties,” said Jaguars’ forward Will O’Brien.
