10 local players earn All-WPIAL honors

Ten local boys soccer players were recently named all-WPIAL in their respective classifications and received invitations to play in the Western Pennsylvania Soccer Coaches Association senior all-star game Nov. 30 at Fox Chapel.
The Class A all stars will take on the Class 2A squad at 11 a.m. before a 1 p.m. tilt between the Class 3A squad and the Class 4A all stars.
The Belle Vernon Area duo of Niko Apodiakos and Daniel Sassak were selected to the 3A team along with Ringgold’s Frankie Lowstetter and Thomas Jefferson’s Marshall Richter.
Charleroi’s Cullin Woytovich and Jace Kepich were joined by Elizabeth Forward’s Zack Snyder on the Class 2A team, while Cam Frolo (Monessen), Brian Hustava (Bentworth) and Teddy Almeter (Serra Catholic) were Class A selections.
