Pauline Price, 91, of Monongahela, died unexpectedly on Monday, Nov. 4, 2019. She was born in North Charleroi on May 16, 1928, to the late Michael and Anna Mikulak Madzey. Pauline enjoyed attending movies and stage shows, playing bingo, visiting the casino and traveling. She had worked at Montgomery Ward in Charleroi and H&R Block in Rostraver Township. Pauline also operated her own income tax preparation business for many years and was proud to be the first female elected to North Charleroi borough council. She also served as majority inspector and judge of elections. Pauline will be remembered for always stylishly wearing a pearl necklace. She is survived by her five children, Lloyd (Susan) of Carroll Township, Glen (Deborah) of Burtonsville, Md., Lawrence (Michelle) of Portland, Tenn., Roseann (Thomas) Braunegg of Cortland, Ohio, and Donna (Jeff) Bialon of Rostraver Township; 11 grandchildren, Lloyd, Jared (Cassandra) and Andrea Price, Erin (Cameron) Rocco, Alexandra (Mark) Waldo and Aaron Price, Drs. Michael (Lindsey), Katelyn and Rachel Braunegg and Matthew and Mitchell Bialon; two great-grandchildren, Olivia Rocco and Eleanor Waldo; brother, Donald Madzey of Stockdale; and several nieces and a nephew. Pauline was preceded in death by Lloyd, her husband of 53 years, in 2003; two brothers, Michael and Albert; and a sister, Donna. Friends will be received from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 10, 2019, at FRYE FUNERAL HOME INC., 427 West Main St., Monongahela. Inurnment will be held at a later date in Grandview Cemetery, Monessen.
