The Belle Vernon Public Library wants your old junk.
Starting today, the library will collect all varieties of previously and gently owned goods from community members who want to help the library out with funding.
This marks the third year for the library’s Goodwill fundraising efforts. Library director Elina Filander said in the past, the drive has raised several hundred dollars for the library’s programming.
Donors can drop off all clothing, accessories, home goods, sports equipment, toys and non-electronic items to the library through Wednesday, or take their items directly to the Finley Road Goodwill in Belle Vernon from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday.
