Law enforcement agencies at the federal, county and local level worked together early Friday to arrest two people in McKeesport who were allegedly in possession of a large amount of heroin mixed with fentanyl.

Allegheny County and McKeesport detectives, along with the Allegheny County District Attorney’s Narcotics Enforcement Team and agents from the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms, executed a search warrant at a residence in the 600 block of Yester Square. The residence is located in McKeesport Housing Authorities’ Crawford Village Housing Complex.

Tyjior Leslie Brown, 18, of Pittsburgh, and Camille Ann Pruitt, 27, of Yester Square, McKeesport, were each arraigned at 11:45 a.m. Friday at the McKeesport office of Magisterial District Judge Eugene F. Riazzi Jr. They are lodged in Allegheny County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bond each and are both charged with single felony counts of criminal conspiracy, possession with intent to deliver, possession and prohibited acts-use or possession with intent to use drug paraphernalia.

Pruitt is also charged with three counts of endangering the welfare of children.

County narcotics detectives obtained a search warrant for Pruitt’s residence as the result of an investigation targeting heroin trafficking within the city, according to Allegheny County police Lt. Jonathan Love.
