William L. “Lumpy” Buckery, 54, of Clairton, died Saturday, Oct. 26, 2019, in his home. Born Nov. 20, 1964 in McKeesport, he was the son of Carl S. Buckery Sr. of Ohio and Joannne Trainer of Forward Township. For most of his life, Bill worked in construction. A 1983 graduate of Clairton High School, he was an avid dog lover and enjoyed fishing at his friend Craig’s cabin. Surviving are, in addition to his parents, stepmother, Maryanne Buckery of Ohio; a daughter, Jessica Buckery of Elizabeth; five brothers, Chauncey, Kenneth and Lawrence Trainer, and Stephen and David Buckery; six sisters, Tracey Dworek, Christine Rodabaugh, Lynn Magiske, Lana Bliner, Edith DeWitt and Anne Tomachesky. Preceding him in death was a brother, Carl Buckery Jr. Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial gathering and luncheon beginning at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 2, 2019 at the Hoot Owls Club, 139 Fourth Ave. New Eagle.
