Audrey Jean Hunt – California, Pa.

Audrey Jean Hunt, 95, of California, Pa., died Sunday, Oct. 27, 2019. She was born Saturday, June 21, 1924, in Granville, a daughter of the late Bertram and Florence Gotta Duvall. Her life was very full and active. Audrey owned her own hair salon and enjoyed the company of her close customers. She loved crocheting, reading and hosting family picnics by her swimming pool. She and her late husband Harold traveled extensively throughout their retirement. They enjoyed RVing, driving to Alaska to visit her son, Darryl and making several trips to Texas to visit her son, Dennis, his wife Ginny and grandson Ryan. Throughout the winters she vacationed in Key Largo living the “Keysie” Florida life. Her later years were spent taking care of her great-grandchildren, Preston and Ethan, whom she adored. She will be greatly missed. In addition to her parents, Audrey was preceded in death by her husband, Harold; two sons, Dennis and Darryl Hunt, grandson, Ryan Hunt; and sister, Doris Duvall Brown. Left to cherish her memory are her sister, Donna Lee of Charleroi, PA; brother, John Duvall and wife Donna Rae of California, Pa.; and daughter-in-law, Ginny Hunt of Belle Vernon. Also surviving are two great-grandsons, Preston and Ethan Hunt; and numerous nephews, nieces and cousins. Friends will be received in the MARISCOTTI FUNERAL HOME INC., Anthony N. Mariscotti, Supervisor, 323 Fourth St., California, Pa., from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 31, 2019. On Friday, Nov. 1, 2019, visitation will continue in the United Christian Church at the Malden Crossroads, from 10:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. the hour of service with the Rev. Amory Merriman, officiating.
