William Koster III – Donora, formerly of Charleroi

William Koster III, 70, of Donora and formerly of Charleroi, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 27, 2019, at his home, surrounded by his family. He was born in Gillespie on Dec. 14, 1948, a son of William and Betty Ellis Koster II. William was a U.S. Army veteran, having served during the Vietnam War. He was retired after working in the retail business. William was a member of the Christian Center in Perryopolis and a member of the Monessen Eagles. He was an avid pool player. William is survived by his son, William (Leticia) Koster IV of Donora; a daughter, Melissa (James) Lemley of Donora; three grandchildren, Leila, Trinity and Isaiah; four brothers, Gary Koster of Monongahela, Terry Koster and Darryl Koster, both of Donora, and John Koster of Las Vegas; and two sisters, Patricia Trilli of Donora and Sandra Bright of Virginia. He was preceded in death by his wife, Karen Nelson Koster; three brothers, Henry, Robert and Barry Koster; and two sisters, Carol Monack and Betty Wergin. Family and friends are invited to graveside services at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2019, at Mon Valley Memorial Park, Carroll Township.
