Eleanor F. Greco – Monessen

Eleanor F. Greco, 99, of Monessen, passed away on Sunday Oct. 27, 2019, in LaFayette Manor, Uniontown. She was born on May 30, 1920, in East Liverpool, Ohio, the daughter of the late Joseph and Rose DePasquali Lettiero. Prior to marrying her late husband, Ralph J. Greco, she worked for Wheeling Steel Co. and U.S. Steel at their Irvin Works. Eleanor was a member of Epiphany of Our Lord Church in Monessen. Being the oldest member of her family, she was instrumental in keeping everyone together and shared her knowledge of the family history. She is survived by her daughter, Mary Ann Germinario of Monessen; two grandchildren, Giuseppe Germinario and Marisa Germinario of Monessen; a sister, Louise Lettiero of Jefferson Hills; and by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph J. Greco; a son-in-law, Joseph Germinario; a brother, Thomas (Julie) Lettiero; and a sister, Florence (Barlow) Palminteri. Friends will be received at DALFONSO-BILLICK FUNERAL HOME INC. & CREMATION SERVICES, 441 Reed Ave., Monessen, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 31, 2019. Services will be held Friday, beginning with a 10 a.m. blessing in the funeral home, followed by a 10:30 a.m. funeral Mass in Epiphany of Our Lord Church, 44 Pennsylvania Blvd., Monessen.
