Marie A. Hodge

Marie A. Hodge, 82, died Friday, Oct. 25, 2019. She is the daughter of the late Thomas and Marie Danko Valiknac and was born July 28, 1937, in Duquesne. Along with being a homemaker, Marie was a presser for Prosperity Dry Cleaners for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert G. Hodge, who died Dec. 10, 2018, and her daughter, Stephanie Classic, who died Oct. 8, 2019. Marie is survived by her children, Robert C. “Curt” Hodge of Levittown, N.Y., Pamela Baronti of Charleroi and Michele (Blaine) McLaughlin of Four Oaks, N.C.; grandchildren, Tracy Baronti, Richard Baronti, Vincent Baronti, Jessica Baronti, Ronald Hodge, Marie Thomas, Katie Hodge, Crystal Jeznis, Breanne Morabito, Jamie Merlino and Katie Thomas; 14 great-grandchildren; and siblings, Kathleen Richmond of Farmington, Vilma (David) McCorkle of Somerset and Thomas (Mary) Valiknac of Butler. Family and friends will be received at STRIFFLERS OF DRAVOSBURG/WEST MIFFLIN, 740 Pittsburgh-McKeesport Blvd., Dravosburg, PA 15034, 412-678-6192, from 3 to 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 28, 2019. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Clare of Assisi Parish, 460 Reed St., Clairton, PA 15025, at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2019.
