EF pulls away from Yough, 38-6

Elizabeth Forward scored 31 unanswered points en route to a 38-6 victory over Yough in Big East Conference play Friday night on Cougar Mountain.
Evan Lewis completed 7 of 10 passes for 137 yards and two touchdown passes. Lewis connected with Chase Whatton for a 13-yard score in the second quarter before finding Jacob Prah for a 4-yard touchdown in the fourth. Lewis also added a 43-yard touchdown run in the third.
Nico Mrvos was Lewis’ top target, finishing with four catches for 107 yards.
EF (7-2, 6-2) added scores on a 59-yard touchdown pass from Prah to Jason McClellan, a 16-yard run by Kyle Flournoy and a 35-yard field goal by Andrew Smith.
Yough (1-9, 1-7) scored its lone touchdown on a 1-yard run by Gamal Marballie in the first quarter.
