Bearcats back in semis for 3rd time in 4 years

For the third time in four seasons, the Bentworth Bearcats will play in the WPIAL Class A semifinals.
Jocelyn Timlin scored twice for the No. 2-seed Bearcats, including the back-breaking third goal in a 3-1 win over No. 10 Serra Catholic in a WPIAL quarterfinal at Peters Township.
”It’s funny because I thought last game was the best game we played. It didn’t look like a single-A level game,” Bearcats coach Tyler Hamstra said. “Well, this game wasn’t that. This game looked like a single-A game to the max.”
The Bearcats (18-1) didn’t play their best game, but used their speed to eventually take over and control the second half.
