Eicher’s return sparks ’Dores

Frazier volleyball celebrated senior night for nine players Thursday prior to its final regular-season game against Southmoreland.
It was also a welcome back for one of those nine players, Skye Eicher.
Returning from an ankle injury and seeing sparse action, Eicher helped spark the Commodores in the second set with a couple of thunderous kills to help push Frazier to a 3-0 sweep of the Scotties in Section 3-2A action.
“She came to me on the bench and asked me to put her in. Our backs were against the wall a little bit there,” Frazier coach Mandy Hartman said. “I told her to go win us a couple points and she said, ‘That’s what I do.’
“You really have to know Skye. She’s like a wild horse, really hard to keep down. She’s a competitor.”
