Martin A. ‘Marty’ Carlson – Rowes Run

Martin A. “Marty” Carlson, 66, of Rowes Run, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2019. He was born Dec 22, 1952, in Monessen, son of the late Gus Arthur and Anna Mae Vance Carlson. Marty was retired from Guardian Glass. He was a member of The Perryopolis Sokol Club. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and watching the Pittsburgh Steelers with his wife. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Dorothy Karlyak. He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Kathleen E. Karlyak Carlson; two beloved dogs, Willie and Molly; sister-in-law, Joyce Sobek and husband Stanley; niece, Juliann Sobek Braddock and husband Alex; nephew, Jonathan “Mush” Sobek. Friends will be received at SKIRPAN FUNERAL HOME 135 Park St. Brownsville, from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday when a funeral service will be held with the Rev.
