She was born in Dunlevy on April 22, 1926 and was the daughter of the late David and Margaret Steinmiller Briggs. Geraldine was an avid euchre player and a school crossing guard for many years. She loved her children and grandchildren with all her heart. Family was the most important thing in Geraldine’s life. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Traci (Wade) Fleming, Carla Riley, Christopher (Karen) Stasicha, Haley (Steve) Kirk, and Briana Meyer. She has 10 great-grandchildren: Tanner, Kaitlyn, Keaton, and Brady Riley, Jensen and Jonathan Fleming, Carter and Mason Stasicha, Owen Kirk, and Duncan Meyer. Additionally, she is survived by several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Stasicha was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Stasicha; three brothers, Cecil, Fred and David Briggs; and four sisters, Shirley Simmons, Virginia Isabello, Harriet Lorenzi and Ella Nichols. A special thanks to her loving caregivers, Toni, Barb, Mia, Marsha, and the entire staff of O.S.P.T.A.
