Deadline extended to enter MARC decorating contest

The entry deadline for this year’s Fall Harvest and Halloween Decorating Contest has been extended until Wednesday.
The contest, organized by the Monongahela Area Revitalization Corp., is open to all residents who live in the 15063 and 15067 zip codes.
There are six categories: public opinion, business, fall/harvest, most original, most creative and scariest. Homes can be entered in more than one category.
The public opinion category will be judged entirely by photos that are uploaded by 11:59 p.m. Wednesday to the contest Facebook event page at www.facebook.com/events/467630927166500.
The picture with the most “likes” will win the category, and judging will end Sunday night.
