Dominic Devito, 79, of Roscoe, passed away Thursday, Oct.10, 2019 at Havencrest Nursing Home, Carroll Township. Born January 19, 1940 in Monessen, he was the son of the late Thomas and Filomena Graziano Devito. A resident of Roscoe, Mr. Devito was a member of St. Sebastian R.C. Church; a retired insurance agent from Belle Vernon Financial; enjoyed golfing and was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan. He is survived by his wife, Janet Roseman Devito, to whom he was married to for 47 years; daughter and son-in-law, Renee and Michael Walker of West Brownsville; granddaughter, Kalsie Walker; and sister Mary Devito of Monessen. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday and from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATIONS, Family Owned and Operated, 626 Broad Avenue, Belle Vernon, 724-929-6183. Prayers of Transfer will be held at 9:30 a.m. Monday in the funeral home, followed by funeral mass at 10:00 a.m. at St. Sebastian R.C. Church with the Rev. Elmer Alforque as celebrant. Interment will take place in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Coal Center. Members of St. Sebastian parish will pray the rosary for the departed soul of Dominic Devito Sunday at 3 p.m. in the funeral home.
