Maddie Carr has contributed to the success of the Serra Catholic girls soccer program since she stepped foot on the field her freshman year.
“Reliable” is the appropriate word head coach Ashley Dorn uses to describe her.
“She is always on. Even if she makes a mistake, she hustles to correct it,” Dorn said. “She always outworks the opponent. That’s something I like my younger players to look up to. It’s something that motivates her teammates to do, too.”
Over the years, the Eagles have been able to rely on Carr in the goal-scoring department and this season has been no different.
The Seton Hill recruit has scored 20 goals this year and became the all-time leading goal scorer in program history when she scored her 92nd career goal in a 3-0 victory over Springdale on Wednesday.
