Goals have come few and far between for the Elizabeth Forward girls soccer team this season.
Entering Wednesday, the Warriors totaled 16 goals in nine games, scoring more than three goals on just two occasions.
Facing a three-game stretch in which they only found the back of the net twice, the Warriors received an offensive spark in the form of four goals from Bria Vahosky, as they set a season-high goal total in a 5-0 victory over Uniontown in Section 2-3A play.
With the win, EF (5-5, 5-3) put an end to its three-game losing streak and moved a half game ahead of Greensburg Salem for third place in the section after the Golden Lions fell to second-place Ringgold, 1-0.
