Arthur Milliern Sr. – Monongahela

Arthur Milliern Sr., 78, of Monongahela, Valley Inn, died Monday, Sept. 30, 2019, in Monongahela-Valley Hospital. Born Aug. 19, 1941, in Monongahela, he was the son of the late Arthur and Evelyn Weaver Milliern. A mechanic by trade, for many years Art owned the former Gulf Service Station in Monongahela, he then retired from SKC Inc. in Venetia. He enjoyed working around the house and spending time with his family at their camp in Mt. Pines Campground in Donegal. Surviving are his wife, Carol Tominello Milliern, who he married Dec. 14, 1963; a son and daughter-in-law, Arthur and Susan Milliern Jr. of Monessen; and a daughter, Tara Milliern and Veronica “Niqi” Ghazal of Monessen; a sister, Jane Tantlinger of Monongahela; and a granddaughter, Briana Milliern. Preceding him in death was a daughter, Terri Lynn Milliern; and one brother, Robert Milliern. Friends will be received at MARSHALL MARRA FUNERAL HOME, 216 Chess St., Monongahela, 724-258-6767, marshallmarrafuneralhome.com, from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday where prayers will begin at 9 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 3, 2019. Interment will follow in Mon Valley Memorial Park, Donora.
