Thursday night’s pregame festivities at Myron Pottios Stadium honored Cullin Woytovich and Jace Kepich, two of Charleroi’s most prolific scorers in the history of the boys soccer program.
When the game began, the Cougars’ dynamic duo were among the players doing what they do best: scoring goals
Woytovich, the leading goal scorer in program history, and Kepich, the all-time assist leader, helped Charleroi light up the scoreboard en route to turning out the lights on Beth-Center’s upset hopes with a 6-1 win in Section 3-2A action.
Both Kepich and Woytovich notched a goal and two assists, while Eben McIntyre stayed hot for the Cougars (11-0, 9-0), notching a hat trick. Joey Caruso also was credited with a goal on a deflection from his throw in.
Charleroi head coach Jon Ducoli praised the play of his scoring leaders, but also made note that it really does not matter who scores, as long as they win.
