Sharon Flaherty Spadafora Ramsey – Charleroi

Sharon Flaherty Spadafora Ramsey, 78, of Charleroi, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 21, 2019. Born on Aug. 14, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Kathryn Burger Flaherty. She was a member of Mary, Mother of the Church and the Christian Mothers. She worked as a hairdresser in the area and at Medved’s Pharmacy in Charleroi. Sharon is survived by her daughters, Lisa (John) Kite of Monongahela, and Nicole (Brad) Belcher of Tuscaloosa, Ala.; sister-in-law, Anita Gray of Texas; grandsons, Jonathan (Ashley) Kite and Brent Nucci and his father, David Nucci; several nieces and nephews; and her cat, Gibbs. In addition to her mother, she was predeceased by her first husband, Richard C. Spadafora; second husband, James M. Ramsey; and brother, James Flaherty. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 24, at CARL J. SPALLINO FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION, 819 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi, Joseph A. Lopez, funeral director. Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Mary, Mother of the Church, Charleroi, with interment following in Monongahela Cemetery.
