The Twin Coaches Jr. Stage Band is diving into a full rehearsal schedule to prepare for the biggest Twin Coaches concert yet.

Rehearsals for the 18-piece band made up of area youth musicians in grades 7 through 12 began last week in the Charleroi borough community room, but they are still searching for one member.

Mark Smith, president of Mon Valley Academy for the Arts, said the organization is always looking for talented musicians, but is hoping an area student who can play the trombone will come forward.

Currently, the band includes veteran members Joseph Hodges, piano; Eben McIntyre, trombone; Bryce Haynes and Marcus Hicks on trumpet; and Carson Hertrick, Kate Hardy, Jenna Fox, Sarah Fox and Erica Gray, all on saxophone.

New members this year are Danny Evans, drums; Liam Kelly, bass; Waylon Kreger, guitar; Jacob Levin, J. Alan Snyder, all on trombone; Gavin Binns and Brad McIlvaine on trumpet; and Will Simms on saxophone.
