Andrew ‘Babe’ Lombardo – California, Pa.

Andrew “Babe” Lombardo, 92, of California, Pa., died Saturday, Sept. 21, 2019. He was born Friday, Oct. 22, 1926, in California, Pa., son of the late Salvatore and the late Anna Napolitano Lombardo. Babe was a barber in California for many years. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Bernadine (neé Brozic); second wife Helen (neé Zukow); granddaughter, Kristin Craig; brothers, Angelo Lombardo and Andrew Lombardo in infancy; and sisters, Phyllis Konek and Rose Andrews. Left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Carol Craig and husband William of Uniontown and Chris Ann Lombardo of California, Pa. Also surviving are his grandson, Bill Craig and wife Sara; five great-grandchildren, Serenity, Logan, Bradley, Billy Jr. and Adam; a special goddaughter, Launa; and many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at MARISCOTTI FUNERAL HOME INC., Anthony N. Mariscotti, supervisor, 323 Fourth St., California, Pa., from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 24, 2019, and until 11 a.m. Wednesday, when funeral services will be held in the funeral home with Pastor Bryan Downs.
