More than $500,000 in state grant funding was approved for an array of recreation projects in the district of state Sen. Jim Brewster, D-McKeesport, which includes several communities in Allegheny and Westmoreland counties.
Brewster said $53,763 of that money will enable Port Vue borough and the Port Vue Athletic Association to finish a recreation building.
