Prexies top Cal, 46-20

California suffered its first loss of the season last week against Laurel, even though the game was called at halftime due to the weather.
The Trojans had their hands full Friday against another tough, non-conference foe in Washington.
The Prexies’ offense was too dynamic for California and the Trojans’ offense couldn’t keep up in a 46-20 setback on the road.
“I felt really good with the way our kids played tonight,” Cal coach Ed Woods said. “It was a lot closer than the score would indicate. We were physical and the kids didn’t have any quit in them.”
