Leopards score in waves to sink Indiana

Belle Vernon Area was bigger, stronger, faster and opportunistic.
Those are just four of the words that describe Friday’s Big 8 Conference matchup between Belle Vernon Area and Indiana.
The Leopards wasted no time deciding the outcome, scoring 48 first-quarter points on their way to a 61-7 win over the Indians on “the Beach” at James Weir Stadium.
BVA scored quickly each time it had the ball and added three defensive touchdowns in a span of two minutes. Three of those scores came in an 18-second time span.
