A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for a Pittsburgh woman who allegedly led McKeesport, White Oak and North Versailles police on a high-speed chase over the weekend.

Rachael R. Revers, 40, of Washington Road, was charged Saturday with 10 felony counts of aggravated assault, six counts of recklessly endangering another person, three counts of criminal mischief, three traffic violations and one count each of DUI, fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer, careless driving and reckless driving.

McKeesport officer Joshua Byers and Det./Sgt. Sidney Summers were contacted shortly after 1 a.m. Saturday by White Oak police, who told them to be on the lookout for a silver Hyundai Elantra driven by Revers. White Oak police said the woman sped away from a traffic stop.

Byers and Summers saw the drive allegedly make an illegal turn at the intersection of East Fifth Avenue and Elm Street in McKeesport. Byers wrote in the affidavit that Revers made “abrupt lane changes” multiple times between Elm Street and Hartman Street — a one-block stretch of road — and almost struck the police vehicle Byers was driving.
