Mary Jane Neidermeyer – Monongahela

Mary Jane Neidermeyer, 84, of Monongahela, died Monday, Sept. 19, 2019, in her home. Born Sept. 8, 1935, in Bunola, she was a daughter of the late John and Martha Jenkins Crocci. A homemaker, Jane was a member of St. Damien of Molokai Parish (formerly St. Anthony Church) in Monongahela and had belonged to their Altar Rosary Christian Mother Society. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Thomas and Melissa Neidermeyer of Belle Vernon; and a daughter and son-in-law, Kimberly A. and William McLaughlin of New Eagle; a brother, John Crocci of Kentucky; three sisters, Geraldine Rusnak of Duquesne; Nina Trappin of Whitehall and Martha Lowry of Cleveland, Ohio; four grandchildren, Toni (Jordan) Kislear, Jodi McLaughlin, Christina (Ryan) Yates and Alyson Neidermeyer; and three great-grandchildren, Madison and Kelsey Yates and Austin Kislear. Preceding her in death were her husband, Albert T. Neidermeyer Sr., who died Nov. 21, 2001; three brothers, John and Francis “Buck” McCellan and Gaylord Crocci; and three sisters, Josephine McClellan, Cecila McCombs and Patricia Givens. Friends will be received at the MARSHALL MARRA FUNERAL HOME, 216 Chess St., Monongahela, 724-258-6767, marshallmarrafuneralhome.com, from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday. Blessing prayers will begin in the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian burial that will be celebrated at 10 a.m. at St. Damien of Molokai Parish in Monongahela, with Father Patrick Barkey as celebrant. Interment will follow in Monongahela Cemetery.
