Cecilia V. Pardus – Monessen

Cecilia V. Pardus, 89, of Monessen, died peacefully on Thursday, Sept. 19, 2019, in her home surrounded by her five children. Cecilia was born in North Charleroi on April 26, 1930, daughter of the late Mary and Karl Rauchfuss. Cecilia was a 1948 graduate of Monessen High School and a 1952 graduate of West Penn Hospital School of Nursing. She was an E.R. nurse at Mon Valley Hospital for 20 plus years. She was a member of Epiphany of Our Lord Church of Monessen and the CD of A. Survivors include her children, Renee (Ron) Bartlett of Pittsburgh, Henry D. Pardus Jr. of Monessen, Benjamin W. (Jennifer) Pardus of Raleigh, N.C., Cia (Frank) Pardus of Olney, Md., and Carleen (Harold) Pardus of Pittsburgh; four grandchildren, Kate and Allyson Bartlett and Kristine and Jonathan Pardus; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Henry D. Pardus; and siblings, Carl, Mary, Frank and Joe Rauchfuss. Committal service and burial will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 23, 2019, at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies. Arrangements are entrusted to the CARL J.
