Paige Marshalek scored a team-high five goals and became just the second player in Bentworth history to score 100 goals in her career as the Bearcats rolled past Charleroi, 13-0, in Section 2-A play Monday night.
Marshalek joins teammate Jocelyn Timlin, who scored four goals in the victory, as players to reach the 100 career goal plateau.
“The century mark is something all goal scorers strive for,” Bentworth head coach Tyler Hamstra said. “My first two years, I had amazing defensive teams, just not a pure goal scorer. To have two in the same class is special.”
Marshalek has had to overcome her share of adversity throughout her career, battling a few injuries before coming back stronger than she was before.
