Greta Marlene Spicer, 85, of Charleroi, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, Sept. 13, 2019, at home with her family around her. She was born Aug. 9, 1934, in Canonsburg, daughter of the late Melvin and Margaret Robinson Spicer. She was a lifelong resident of Charleroi and a member of Antioch Baptist Church, Belle Vernon. Greta was retired from Brookvale Clothing Factory. Greta served as judge of elections for Washington County. She also served as the past president of the Amalgamated Textile Union. Greta will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Those left to treasure her memory are daughters, Donna Littlejohn, Dorinda Stepoli and Terri Payne, all of Monessen; and Joan “JJ” (Bernard) Wilkerson of Caroll Township; her grandchildren, James (Andrea) Littlejohn, Darrick (Alyshia) Littlejohn, Samone, Terrance and Joshua Stepoli, Arthur J. “AJ” (Kimberly) Jackson Jr., Jacqueline Jackson, Alonzo, Sade, Nicodemus and Elijahwa Payne and Jillian Brown; 12 great-grandchildren and several nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by sisters, Cathrine Thornton and Bertha Kemp; brothers, Robert and Melvin Spicer; and grandchildren, Jason Adam Towler and Angela Littlejohn in infancy. Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 19, 2019, at Antioch Baptist Church, 945 Henry St., Belle Vernon. At 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 20, 2019, a Home Going service will be held at Antioch Baptist church. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery, McMurray. Arrangements are entrusted to WILLIAM R.
