George Richard ‘Rick’ Horner Jr. – Charleroi

George Richard “Rick” Horner Jr., 66, Charleroi, passed away Sept. 12, 2019, at UPMC Shadyside. Born July 10, 1953, in Johnstown, he was the son of the late George “Dick” Horner Sr. and Thelma “Tim” Naylor Horner. He was also preceded in death by brothers, Harold W. Seigh and Roy Stiffey; and niece, Cassie Gill. He is survived by a sister, Sharon Foster and husband Ken of Brush Valley, Pa.; several nieces, nephews and extended family members, along with special friends, Tony and Judy and Suzie and Sam. Rick enjoyed riding his Harley-Davidson, fixing vehicles and shooting guns. He was a retired coal miner and UMWA member. Friends will be received from 6 p.m. until the time of the service at 8 p.m. Sunday at RICHARD C. STUART FUNERAL HOME, 392 E. Philadelphia St., Armagh, Pa.
