The Charleroi boys soccer team continued to operate like a well-oiled machine Thursday night.
The Cougars scored seven of their goals in the first 30 minutes of an 8-1 throttling of Brownsville in Section 3-2A play at Myron Pottios Stadium.
Cullin Woytovich netted a hat trick in the win, while Eben McIntyre chipped in with a pair of goals less than two minutes apart from one another.
Joey Caruso, Jace Kepich and Alex Marsich also found the back of the net for Charleroi (4-0, 4-0).
“The boys are definitely using each other and we’re playing more of a possession game that way it opens things up and we can take the most opportune shots we can,” said Charleroi coach Jon Ducoli, whose team is outscoring opponents, 21-2, through four games this season.
“We’re working as one unit instead of two or three guys putting on a show.”
