Robert J. Usher – North Belle Vernon

Robert J. Usher, 65, of North Belle Vernon, passed away Friday, Sept. 6, 2019, at his home.  Born Nov. 14, 1953, in North Charleroi, he was the son of the late John W. and Frances I. Olejniczek Usher. A lifelong resident of Belle Vernon, Bob had a very strong faith and was a member of St. Sebastian RC Church, Belle Vernon. Bob was also retired from Duritza’s Market in North Belle Vernon, where he worked as a grocery manager. He coached little league baseball, football and soccer in Belle Vernon for many years and enjoyed going to the casinos. He is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law. Jason and Chrissie Usher of Belle Vernon and John Usher of North Belle Vernon; daughter and son-in-law, Jill and Jason Usher-Owens of North Belle Vernon; granddaughter, Hannah Usher of Belle Vernon; brother and sister-in-law. Thomas and Cheryl Usher of Perryopolis; and a sister, Darlene Furyanic of Charleroi.  He is preceded in death by the love of his life Martha E. Tineri Usher , who died Jan. 14, 2011; and a brother, Jerome Usher. Visitation will be held Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. at PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME & CREMATIONS, family owned and operated, 626 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon, 724-929-6183, followed by funeral services at 8 p.m. in the funeral home.  The family suggests memorial contributions be made in memory of Robert J.
