Thomas P. ‘Boxey’ Monack – Speers Hill

Thomas P. “Boxey” Monack, 83, of Speers Hill, passed away on Monday, Sept. 9, 2019. Born on June 4, 1936, he was the son of the late James and Bessie Monack. He was a member of Mary, Mother of the Church and was a member of several clubs including the Belgian, Russian, Legion and Italian clubs of Charleroi and the Allenport Rod & Gun. He played actively in the APA and Charleroi pool leagues and had raced at Pittsburgh International Dragway. Boxey is survived by his daughter, Lyn Fedrick (Joe Minniti) of Belle Vernon; son, Patrick (Jaime) Monack of Charleroi; brother, Frank (Deanna) Monack of Belle Vernon; grandchildren, Sara, Hanna and Sean Monack Jr; and three great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Judith Monack, in 2007; son, Sean Monack, in 2011; sisters, Roberta Burns and Ida Moss; and infant brother, James Monack Jr. Friends will be received from 4 to 7 p.m. the time of services, on Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2019, at CARL J.
