Ferguson appointed emergency coordinator for N. Belle Vernon

North Belle Vernon Borough Council appointed a new emergency management coordinator Tuesday night. 

Shelby Ferguson II will take over the position from John Garber, who resigned last month. Former deputy EMC Brian Bennett, who was appointed as the temporary director in August, will maintain his position as deputy director. 

Ferguson is a North Belle Vernon resident and is the director for Ferguson Funeral Home and Crematory. He is a long-time member of the North Belle Vernon Fire Department.
